The CPSC page lists August 27, 2026 as the recall date and says Conair added about 1.9 million Cuisinart metal wire-bristle grill brushes to the recall. Together with the 1,719,995 recalled in July, the total is 3,625,800.

The CPSC says small metal bristles can detach from a brush and stick to a grill or food, posing an ingestion hazard and a risk of serious internal injuries. Conair is aware of at least 54 reports and reviews involving detached bristles, including three reports of people who swallowed one and sought medical treatment to remove it.

The agency says consumers should stop using recalled brushes and contact Conair for a full refund or a Cuisinart.com credit that adds 20 percent to the cash-refund amount. Consumers will be asked to discard the brush.
