CPSC announced the recall on September 3, 2026, covering about 32,400 XO Poppy Power Trip Magnetic Wireless Power Banks, model PYPBK5M. The agency says they were sold at TJX and Marshalls stores nationwide from April 2025 through March 2026 for about $15.
The recalled lithium-ion batteries can overheat and ignite, creating fire and burn hazards. CPSC lists cream (PY-PBK5M-CR2), cream with pink bow print (PY-PBK5M-BW8), and black with teddy-bear print (PY-PBK5M-TB2) versions; the codes are on the original package above the barcode.
CPSC reports no injuries or incidents. The agency tells consumers to stop using the power banks and contact Truststone Group for a full refund as a virtual gift card usable where Mastercard is accepted.
The notice warns against placing the recalled lithium-ion device in household trash, curbside or general recycling, or used-battery collection boxes. It advises checking with a local household hazardous-waste center before bringing it there.
