No one owns the AI

tools without an owner drift — settings change, nobody reviews output, and nobody can answer the insurer's questions.

Why underwriters ask about it

tools without an owner drift — settings change, nobody reviews output, and nobody can answer the insurer's questions.

How to fix it

  1. Name one person as the AI owner for the business (in a small shop, that's usually the owner).
  2. Write their name next to every tool in the inventory.
  3. Rule going forward: no new AI tool gets connected until the owner adds it to the inventory.

Evidence to keep

owner named in the inventory; a one-line "new tools must be approved" note in your AI policy (R10.1).
